Trump's Family Member Seeks Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Before Professional Golf First Appearance

Young golfer preparing for significant tournament

The rising star maintains impressive social media following

The young golfer will have plenty of high-profile backers as she makes her LPGA debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is connected to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates multiple international courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she stated.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"My grandpa essentially advised me to play and enjoy myself," she added.

"From my perspective, he's simply a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has competed in a mere three competitions in 2024 and has position 461 in AJGA rankings.

However she can get advice from golf legend, romantically involved with her mother.

"He stands as the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai expressed.

"And he's a more impressive person. He suggested me to compete, enjoy myself, following the flow."

The golfer will compete against several the biggest names in the sport at this tournament, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to wider groups, specifically with youth audiences.

The social media influencer boasts millions of followers and just introduced her own apparel and wellness label.

She begins at 17:30 GMT.
