Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window

A plane carrying Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unplanned landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday due to a fissure was identified in the aircraft's cockpit window, per an official statement which confirmed that all passengers were secure.

"The plane touched down in accordance with standard procedures and all individuals on the flight, among them Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a press officer said in a social media post.

The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to the city of Brussels when the incident occurred.

This incident isn't the first time that a American defense plane ferrying a high-ranking official has encountered equipment failures.

Earlier this year, a US Air Force plane ferrying the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was forced to turn back to the US capital after suffering a mechanical problem.
