A individual charged with harassing Kate McCann apparently deposited her a phone message which questioned: "imagine I am Madeleine?"
Julia Wandelt, twenty-four, who court testimony revealed has consistently declared she was the disappeared Madeleine McCann, and Karen Spragg are facing charges indicted with stalking Kate and Gerry McCann between June 2022 and February this year.
On Monday, the court learned phone records and evidence obtained from phones logged Ms Wandelt persistently asking Madeleine's mother for a biological test during that period.
Madeleine's case in 2007 - when she was three years old during a family holiday in Portugal - is considered the most widely reported child disappearance cases and continues to be unresolved.
One recorded message, presented in court, recorded Ms Wandelt saying: "I understand I'm fat and plain like Madeleine had been, but I feel what I believe."
While a separate message of Ms Wandelt's recordings with Mrs McCann's recording stated: "Suppose there is a slight possibility that I am she? What happens next? Is that not crucial for you?"
"I do not need money, I have a life here in Poland, I simply desire to know," the recording stated.
The panel was advised that through emails, SMS messages and phone calls, Ms Wandelt asked for a genetic test, forwarded youth pictures to her phone in a attempt to demonstrate a similarity to Mrs McCann's missing daughter, and claimed to have "recollections" from a youth with the McCanns.
The investigator, an intelligence analyst with law enforcement who collated the information, informed the court there "showed no any responses" from Mrs McCann.
Ms Wandelt also reached out to close associates of the McCanns, as per the call data.
On October 9th, 2024, Mr McCann picked up a phone call from Ms Wandelt to his wife's phone, declaring she had "a wrong number."
On that occasion Ms Wandelt recorded a message on Mrs McCann's recording saying "I will persist and I intend to demonstrate my point."
The court learned Mrs Spragg established a association via internet with Ms Wandelt prior to joining her on a visit to the McCanns' property in that area in that winter.
Communication data demonstrated Mrs Spragg had communicated using communication app to Mrs McCann to state the media had portrayed Ms Wandelt as "emotionally disturbed" but that she deserved to be treated respectfully in the months preceding the trip to Rothley, Leicestershire, in that winter.
The court was told message exchanges between the two defendants, in November 2024, planning attempting to get Mrs McCann's DNA samples from her bins or from cutlery at a eating establishment.
"We have to make a stand," Mrs Spragg informed Ms Wandelt.
On the evening of the visit to their home, the defendant dispatched a text which stated: "We find ourselves sat outside the McCanns' residence with our headlights off resembling detectives. I wanted to achieve this with someone else I hadn't anticipated I would be engaged in this with the McCanns."
